Senior Internal Auditor
Our client is an organization in the Appleton area looking for a Sr Internal Auditor. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, analytical, and detail oriented. The salary for this position is $70k – $90k.
The Sr Internal Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a consultant and catalyst for improvement by assisting management in the improvement of internal controls and management of risk.
- Perform substantive audit procedures related to financial audit.
- Supervise, manage, and mentor interns.
- Partner with finance and operational management and lead specific risk assessments/audits of high-risk transactions, activities or functional areas.
- Assist department management in the facilitation of the company’s Risk Management process.
- Perform other projects or duties as needed.
The Sr Internal Auditor will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, equivalent. CPA or CIA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit.
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
