Our client is an organization in the Hartland area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, proactive mindset and highly detailedThis company offers a collaborative team, opportunities for growth and a hybrid work environment.

 

The salary range for this job is $60k-100k.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review complex financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts.
  • Perform detailed account analyses and reconciliations.
  • Supervise the processing of invoices, expenses and payment transactions.
  • Supervise the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze budget variances and provide insight to management.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquires.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Supervise, monitor, and support accounting staff.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and readily available for audits and reviews.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
