Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of accounting experience, a strong communicator, and someone who is a self-starter and takes initiative. The salary range for this position is $85-$100k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily general ledger accounting tasks.
- Engage in month-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and proactively seek improvements.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Offer guidance upon request and address financial inquiries for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and compile documentation for annual audit preparations.
- Oversee and review the work of others.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- SOX experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
