Our client, a global, reputable professional services firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! The Senior Accountant opening sits within a centralized U.S. accounting hub, giving you exposure to technical accounting, global operations, and leadership that values development and internal mobility.

Compensation Range: $95,000 – $105,000

Work Arrangements: Hybrid; typically in office 1–3 times per month after initial training period.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring accuracy of results under U.S. GAAP
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with ASC 340
  • Partner with offshore accounting teams to review reconciliations, address variances, and support U.S. hours during close
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and standardization
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, including documentation and walkthroughs
  • Provide guidance and oversight to global accounting partners to maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting
  • Deliver timely, accurate analysis to management to support decision-making

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or progress toward CPA highly preferred
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting or corporate accounting in a large/public company)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; IT/software accounting exposure (ASC 340) a plus
  • Solid month-end close and general ledger experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations)
  • Comfortable working with offshore teams and collaborating across functions
