Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Carver County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, driven, and loves to collaborate. This company offers a fun work environment, great culture, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $85k – $95k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret and analyze operating results and communicate results to management.
- Prepare and process monthly accounting entries based on US GAAP.
- Support the annual audit with the preparation of audit workpapers and will work closely with external auditors.
- Perform and review GL account reconciliations and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Perform other accounting duties as needed.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3+ years of progressive experience including a strong knowledge of GAAP & internal controls.
- International business experience with foreign currency exposure preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel. Experience with NetSuite a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
