Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for an HR Generalist. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, organized, and independent. This company offers a progressive team, a positive workplace culture, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $80k – $100k.

 

The HR Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains complete and accurate personnel records.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administers daily HR functions, including compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, investigations, and performance management.

 

The HR Generalist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
