Our client is an organization in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for a Human Resources Generalist. This client is looking for someone with recruitment experience, strong interpersonal skills, and highly organized.

 

The salary range for this position is $65k-75k.

 

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across multiple functional areas, including employee records management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with leadership on recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Coordinate new employee orientations and ensure accurate completion and filing of required documentation.
  • Maintain and update the HR information system to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, safety, and employee wellness.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including eligibility determinations, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Review and process HR-related invoices such as insurance premiums and related expenses.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and benefit information clearly and consistently to employees.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll.

 

The Human Resources Generalist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience with FMLA, leave, and benefit administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to details and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
