Our growing client in the Milwaukee area is seeking a Credit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of management and credit/collections experience, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree Accounting/Finance, strong system experience, proven success at improving processes and enjoy leading a team.
The salary range for this job is $110k-130k, depending on experience.
The Credit Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and supervise the credit department function including evaluating, establishing and implementing sound credit and collection procedures for all customer accounts
- Manage overdue customer accounts and administer collection procedures
- Manage a team of analysts performing customer collections and cash application
- Negotiate settlements
- Establish customer payment terms and credit limits
- Communicate with customers and internal departments on a regular basis
The Credit Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of management experience required
- 7+ years of credit/collections related experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
