CFO

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a CFO. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience as a CFO or similar senior leadership role, 15+ years of accounting or finance experience, and outstanding communication and presentation skills. This role is the top finance person in the company with lots of visibility and flexibility.

The CFO will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role encompasses accounting, strategic planning and management, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing cash flow and investments to drive informed decision-making and organizational success.

• Supervise the accounting department.
• Implement and manage internal controls and financial procedures.
• Oversee month-end close process.
• Oversee preparation and timely filing of all tax returns.
• Provide support for the sales team from a financial aspect.
• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the company’s long term operational goals.
• Communicate, engage and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, and Leadership teams.
• Supervise auditors and other consultants.
• Recruit, interview and hire fiancé, accounting and payroll staff as needed.
• Supervise the process for budgeting and forecasting.
• Present routine and as needed variance reports.
• Manage cash flow planning processes.
• Oversee cash, investments and asset management.
• Oversee accounts payable and account receivable management.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The CFO will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
• 15+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
• 5+ years of experience as of CFO or similar leadership.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to details.
• CPA required.
• Outstanding leadership ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
