Business Unit Controller
Our client is a global, multi-billion-dollar organization seeking a highly visible Business Unit Controller role embedded within a key segment of the business. Reporting to senior finance leadership with direct exposure to the business unit leader, this position plays a critical role in driving financial accuracy, delivering insights, and supporting strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Analyze results, forecasts, and budgets; explain key variances
- Partner with operations and leadership to drive business performance
- Develop and track KPIs, margins, and cost metrics
- Support standard costing and profitability analysis
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and assist with audits
- Lead the annual budgeting process and financial presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA/MBA preferred
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skillset
- Experience in inventory or product-based environments preferred
- Advanced Excel; ERP experience (SAP or similar) a plus
