Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Assistant Controller. Our client is looking for someone with 8+ years of accounting experience, management experience, and a strong mentor who is open to new processes. The salary range for this position is $150k-180k.

 

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in planning, developing and implementing the accounting functions.

Oversee all financial activity operations. Including reporting, budgeting, revenue, expense reviews, month-end close activities, account reconciliation, preparation of financial statements and audits.

Assist with the development and relationships with banking, insurance and external accounting firms.

Responsible for developing cash flow projections.

Assist with contract and vendor agreement reviews.

Build, develop and mentors finance and accounting teams.

Support the maintenance of accounting software.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

The Assistant Controller will possess the following:

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • 8+ years of accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • CPA preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
