Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Our client is looking for someone who has 10+ years of AP experience, great organizational skills and detail oriented. This company is team oriented with longevity and a fun environment.

 

The salary range for this position is $23-29/hr.

 

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
  • Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, check funs and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor files.
  • Track and reconcile credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in improving and maintaining AP workflows.
  • Support internal teams with invoice approvals and timely payments to vendors.
  • Coordinate with project managers, teams, and vendors to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Enter and manage data in ERP.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

The Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in construction industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
