Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Brown County area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills. This company offers a collaborative team, flexibility, and a positive workplace culture. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $70k – $100k.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intangibles.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, financial analyses, and reports.
- Assist in payroll processing and reconciliation.
- Understand table structures within ERP system to ensure accurate data extraction and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly state sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with multiple sales tax regulations.
- Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required.
- Experienced with accounting software and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Experienced in data analysis tools such as Excel and BI tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
