A financial services company in Brookfield is looking to hire a full-time, in-office Accounting Assistant on a direct-hire basis. This role offers Monday through Friday hours, strong benefits, and a collaborative team culture. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform daily reconciliations across multiple entities and assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitor core banking reports and track delinquent real estate tax listings.
  • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in preparing reports for management and ensuring data accuracy.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Associate degree in Accounting preferred or at least three years of experience in accounting.
  • Experience in the banking/financial services industry a plus.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency and keyboarding skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor interaction and internal team collaboration.
