Accounting Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily reconciliations across multiple entities and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports.
- Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor core banking reports and track delinquent real estate tax listings.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide support in preparing reports for management and ensuring data accuracy.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate degree in Accounting preferred or at least three years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in the banking/financial services industry a plus.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency and keyboarding skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor interaction and internal team collaboration.
