Accounting and HR/Benefits Director
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounting & HR Director. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of office management experience, a team player, and strong communication skills.
The Office Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounts payable and invoicing processes, including entering invoices into QuickBooks and ensuring timely payments.
- Prepare billing and assist with audit preparations, focusing on authorizations and compliance.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking high salary exempt employees’ monthly hours and payments.
- Support month-end accounting tasks, working in collaboration with the board president for control reviews.
- Process bi-monthly payroll cycles, including garnishments, deductions, PTO audits, and benefits enrollment.
- Manage direct deposits and mailing of pay stubs when necessary.
- Conduct full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment, interviews, onboarding, orientation, and maintaining HR files.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life insurance, short-term/long-term disability, retirement plans, and open enrollment.
The Office Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associates degree preferred.
- 2+ years of office management experience.
- HR and benefits experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
