    Our client in the Janesville area is looking for an Interim Assistant Director of Finance to help out for the next few months. This role is 25 hours/week and can be hybrid. The ideal candidate will have municipality experience.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare year-end reconciliations and work papers to support the annual audit process
    Manage fixed asset accounting
    Review and post journal entries and budget amendments
    Create and maintain new general ledger accounts
    Implement and oversee the project ledger 

     

    Requirements: 

    5+ years municipality experience 
    Fund accounting experience 
    Strong technical skills
    Immediate availability
