Senior Accountant

Our client on the west side of Madison is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to support their team for the next few months. The ideal candidate will have prior Senior Accountant experience, with manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset records and support depreciation tracking and reporting
• Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with inventory-related accounting activities
• Analyze and reconcile warranty reserves and related accounting allocations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Assist with cost accounting activities, including inventory, warranty, and related balance sheet account analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and warranty reserve allocations is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Immediate availability preferred
