Senior Financial Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Dane County area that’s looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and analytical. This company offers a collaborative team, flexibility, and fun company perks/events. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $70k – $95k.
The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis for divisional and corporate leadership.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports, highlighting key trends, revenue drivers, costs, and profitability.
- Partner with operational and executive leadership to evaluate performance and provide actionable financial insights.
- Support accounting and close processes through journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial data validation.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and key metrics to assess the impact of business initiatives and operational changes.
- Lead financial reviews with management and collaborate across divisions to support organizational goals and projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements while supporting audit, tax, and compliance activities.
The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in finance / accounting, including strategic analysis and thought leadership.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
