Our client is an organization in the Hennepin County area that’s looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, energetic, and has strong interpersonal skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, high visibility, and a flexible work/life balance. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $120K – $135K

 

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP, including support for consolidated reporting and audits.
  • Lead the month-end close process for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Provide analysis of financial results, trends, and variances to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and finance teams to support business initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Support acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, onboarding, purchase accounting, and post-close integration.
  • Drive process improvements and leverage ERP systems to enhance efficiency, internal controls, and financial reporting visibility.

 

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and payroll support.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
  • Experience with ERP and payroll systems (NetSuite and Paylocity preferred).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
