Accounts Receivable Specialist

The salary for this position is $27 – $28/hr.
The AR Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounts receivable and collections portfolio for high-value customers, ensuring timely payment and cash flow optimization.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue balances to reduce aging and improve collection performance.
- Conduct frequent email outreach and targeted phone follow-ups to resolve outstanding invoices and maintain customer communication.
- Investigate billing discrepancies, reconcile account issues, and collaborate with internal sales and billing teams to ensure accurate account resolution.
- Run and analyze AR aging and collection reports, tracking key performance metrics.
- Escalate complex or high-risk accounts as needed, partnering with leadership to implement resolution strategies and mitigate credit exposure.
The AR Specialist will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Comfortable with collections outreach and customer conversations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
