Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for an AR Specialist. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and inquisitive. The salary for this position is $27 – $28/hr.

 

The AR Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage accounts receivable and collections portfolio for high-value customers, ensuring timely payment and cash flow optimization.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue balances to reduce aging and improve collection performance.
  • Conduct frequent email outreach and targeted phone follow-ups to resolve outstanding invoices and maintain customer communication.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies, reconcile account issues, and collaborate with internal sales and billing teams to ensure accurate account resolution.
  • Run and analyze AR aging and collection reports, tracking key performance metrics.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk accounts as needed, partnering with leadership to implement resolution strategies and mitigate credit exposure.

 

The AR Specialist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Comfortable with collections outreach and customer conversations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
