Controller

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Controller who will play a critical role at the intersection of accounting, finance and operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will lead accounting and financial planning.

Position Overview

This role goes beyond traditional accounting. The Controller will be embedded in the business, helping drive operational efficiency and support decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including close, financial analysis, and internal controls
• Partner closely with operations to understand cost drivers
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with a focus on operational insights
• Build and enhance KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into operational performance
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve sautomation
• Manage and develop accounting/finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
• 8+ years of experience, with exposure to manufacturing environments
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, or plant teams
• Systems-savvy (ERP experience required; experience improving processes/automation a plus)
