Our client, a large and growing organization, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their diverse internal audit team. This role will be responsible for using Agile methodology while executing operational audits and partnering closely with business stakeholders to assess risks, evaluate controls, and drive process improvements across the organization.

 

This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days/week) offering strong internal mobility across departments, no SOX work, and minimal travel. The team uses an agile audit methodology and provides clear paths for advancement, making this a great role for someone looking for long-term growth and frequent promotional opportunities!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational audits, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify control gaps, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Present audit findings and remediation plans to management and track progress to timely resolution.
  • Collaborate independently and cross-functionally to support audit objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of public accounting, internal audit, or relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of internal audit standards, COSO, and risk assessment concepts.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Limited travel required (approximately 5%).
