Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and high level of attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $75-$90k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with project accounting, job cost tracking and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconcile ledger accounts, and track departmental budgets.
- Record month-end and adjust journal entries.
- Assist controller with quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Perform reconciliation for customer accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Serve as a point of contact as needed for internal and external auditors.
- Recommend and implement process improvement.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
