Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and motivated. This company offers a hard-working team, collaborative culture, and high visibility. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $80k – $90k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions.
- Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances.
- Prepare and review month-end account reconciliations.
- Provide analysis and support to the finance team and functional leadership.
- Maintenance of SOX documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
- Support the execution and application of technical accounting principles.
- Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required. CPA or CMA preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
- Experience with Epicor or a similar ERP software package.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with OneStream a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
