Interim Finance Director

Our client, a non-profit organization in Janesville, WI, is looking for an Interim Finance Director to help out their team. The ideal candidate will have senior level experience working for a non-profit. This opportunity has hybrid flexibility and is about 30 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies
• Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, audits, investments, and fraud-risk management, while maintaining accurate financial records
• Manage banking relationships and utilize financial tools, including online banking, ACH processing, credit cards, and donor contributions
• Ensure accurate handling of key responsibilities, including grant allocations, payables, receivables, credit card processing, and compliance
• Provide clear financial reports and insights to internal and external stakeholders, while driving improvements in donor management systems and reporting

Requirements:

• Experience working in a senior level finance position at a non-profit organization
• Strong independent working and problem solving skills
• Strong technical skills
• Immediate availability
