Accounting Assistant
Our client is an organization in the Fond du Lac County area looking for an Accounting Assistant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, organized, and independent. The salary for this position is $52k.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vouch and code vendor invoices for data entry into the accounting system.
- Process AP check runs for payments to vendors.
- Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll and payroll tax filings
- Prepare payroll reporting as needed.
- Research and resolve any vendor invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Accounting Assistant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete projects timely and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Sage Accounting software is a plus (Sage 100 / MAS 90).
- Experience with construction accounting is a plus.
