Payroll Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Outagamie County area that is looking for a Payroll Accountant. This client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. This company offers a close-knit team, continued growth & opportunity, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid after training is complete.
The salary for this position is $65k.
The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accurate calculation, timely delivery, and cost-effective operation.
- Maintain payroll records in compliance with legal requirements, ensuring satisfactory reviews by external vendors and auditors.
- Support benefits administration and manage the annual enrollment process.
- Serve as a technical resource for HRIS, addressing and resolving payroll inquiries, and administrating related processes like PTO, FMLA, Time and Attendance, and 401(k).
- Stay updated with legislation and best practices, recommending improvements for existing systems and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Payroll Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ years Human Resources and/or related experience.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HRIS module integrations.
- Experience in administrating various Human Resources processes and programs.
- Demonstrated business acumen and high level of confidentiality.
- Legal and Government compliance and risk mitigation.
