AR Specialist
Our client is an organization in the Racine area looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of AR experience, who has strong customer service and is a self-starter. The salary range for this position is $50k-65k.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and process customer invoices.
- Work with sales and customer services on all new customer accountings including onboarding paperwork.
- Maintain master files for new customers and any changes needed for customers.
- Monitor and update customer billing requirements.
- Perform daily, month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with collections efforts.
- Maintain sales tax system, reviewing and updating customer tax information.
- Process daily invoices to the sales tax system.
- Work as a liaison to the corporate office fielding any sales tax questions.
- Assist with state audits as needed.
- Assist with related special projects, as required.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of AR experience.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
