Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Property Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, management experience, and high attention to detail.
The Property Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a financial business partner and create solutions to improve overall business results.
- Develop and manage accounting associates.
- Produce financial reports and statements for internal and external uses.
- Implement and maintain accounting processes and procedures.
- Drive the annual budget process for both financial and capital projections.
- Collaborate with the property management team and central accounting to ensure accounting challenges are resolved.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Property Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- CPA preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
