Cost Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Appleton area looking for a Cost Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, driven, and analytical. This company provides a strong tenured team, room for professional growth, and flexibility. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $70k – $95k.
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Confirm costs by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data.
- Prepare special reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
- Provide training and guidance on inventory related activities.
- Provide regular margin analysis reports for actual versus bid to the facility staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Cost Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook) required.
- Advanced MRP/ERP System skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment.
