Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills. The salary range for this position is $65k-80k.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play a key role in supporting the accounting team with generating monthly financials, month-end close duties and mid-month accounting activities.
- Assist the accounting team with preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Participate in month-end close activities.
- Monitor, analyze and reconcile fixed assets, expenses, AR and balance sheets.
- Prepare invoices, review AR schedules on a timely basis.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Provide accounting support for mergers.
- All other duties as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ year of accounting experience.
- High detail of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
