Staff Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone who is a self-starter, detail oriented and has excellent communication skills. This company offers a wonderful team with tenure, flexibility, and growth opportunities. This position is hybrid once trained.
The hourly range for this position is $22-$24/hr.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Review programs written by the team for accuracy.
- Assist invoice certification programs.
- Book monthly rebate accruals and income allocation for vendors.
- Prepare and book monthly entries.
- Ensure credits are received for assigned vendor programs.
- Reconcile assigned vendor programs.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
