Payroll Manager
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. The salary for this position is $120k.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and execute all payroll processes including benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions ensuring integrity in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and unionized payrolls.
- Prepare payroll reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, leaves, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Ensure proper tax setup, withholdings, and file Federal, State, and Local tax reports.
- Provide UKG system training and support to managers, supervisors, and employees of the organization.
- Manage the Year-end process, ensuring W-2 records are accurate and complete.
- Continuously research and identify industry and payroll best practices.
The Payroll Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- 7+ years of payroll experience with extensive knowledge of all payroll functions.
- Experience supervising or managing payroll staff.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Understanding of the laws and regulations that affect payroll.
