Staff Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Rock County area looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, organized, and independent. This company offers a tenured team, flexibility, and a brand-new office to work in. This position is hybrid once training is complete.
The salary for this position is $60k – $65k.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform designated financial closing tasks at the end of each month.
- Address issues such as missing credits, incorrect rates, incorrect purchases, and missing branches/POs.
- Ensure timely receipt of payments from suppliers and follow up as needed.
- Assess rebate deduction rates during reconciliation and validate accrual adjustments.
- Assign credits and payments to the correct General Ledger accounts and supplier program IDs.
- Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.
The Staff Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Detail oriented and self motivated
- Analytical thinker
