Staff Accountant
Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with accounting experience, who is a self-starter and takes initiative and wants to grow within the company!
The salary range for this position is $25-$30/hr.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update financial data, including ledgers, accounts, and reports.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Monitor budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Reconcile discrepancies in financial statements and resolve accounting issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
