Senior Tax Manager
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area looking for a Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, motivated, and analytical. The salary for this position is $150k – $190k.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct complex tax engagements for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery.
- Oversee tax services for real estate and other key industry clients, delivering specialized knowledge and tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships, offering proactive and strategic tax advice.
- Mentor and manage team members, fostering technical skill growth and supporting career development.
- Conduct and supervise advanced tax research, staying abreast of evolving tax laws and ensuring compliance.
- Partner with firm leadership to enhance service offerings and client experience, while driving internal process improvements and best practice standardization.
- Support growth through client retention efforts, referrals, and active participation in marketing and visibility initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The Tax Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, along with a CPA license.
- 6+ years of progressive experience, including 4+ years of management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tax preparation and research software.
- Exceptional communication skills.
