Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Senior Operations Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills and open minded. This is a highly visible role within a mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact!

 

The salary for range for this position is $100k-$105k +bonus.

 

The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support plant financial and operational performance by providing detailed analysis, reporting, and process support across manufacturing, inventory, and fiscal close activities.
  • Run and analyze a variety of reports required for monthly fiscal close.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Track and analyze manufacturing costs, including the financial impact of warranties on procured products.
  • Maintain ownership of perpetual inventory processes for multiple entities.
  • Maintain document controls, processes, and procedures to ensure SOX compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

The Senior Operations Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, inventory or cost type of work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
