Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, driven, and self-motivated. This company offers, flexibility, competitive benefits, and a collaborative team. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $85K.

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the monthly global consolidation process, including preparation of elimination and allocation journal entries, obtaining & distributing month-end FX rates, etc.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for management and assist with the preparation of monthly business review presentations for leadership.
  • Provide HFM data to corporate tax function for determination of income tax provision and preparation of income tax returns.
  • Prepare and communicate required consolidation and tax month end and year end journal entries.
  • Assist with the consolidation and analysis of the annual operating plan.
  • Support the annual financial audit.
  • Partner with IT and finance leaders to support future Power BI data analysis and reporting.
  • Key player in the financial tie-out, summarizing differences and working with businesses to improve processes impacting the data.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting, special projects, and cross-functional support as needed.

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 3+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion systems is required. Experience as an HFM administrator or a power user role with a global company desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities– ability to prioritize work, problem solve and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and business acumen.
