Senior Auditor – Operational
Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Senior Auditor. This client is looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position is hybrid with travel expectations.
The salary range for this position is $83k-$125k.
The Senior Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute internal audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Evaluate operational, financial, and compliance processes to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, developing practical recommendations for management.
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform audit findings and risk assessments.
- Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports and communicate results to management and key stakeholders.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and coaching to less experienced auditors, fostering skill development and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Support departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing audit methodology, technology, and operational effectiveness.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, maintaining required continuing education and certifications.
The Senior Auditor will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Preferred CPA or CIA certification.
- Experience building new capabilities for data analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent detail and organizational skills.
