Our client is a manufacturing organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Senior Auditor. This client is looking for someone with 2+ years of auditing experience, SOX experience, and a team player. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in risk assessment, audit scoping and audit program development.
  • Complete assigned SOX and internal audits within timeframes and budget costs.
  • Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to risk and control issues.
  • Collect and interpret data, identifying patterns and trends.
  • Draft audit reports and present issues to company.
  • Support continuous improvement of the audit practice through learning and development.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

The Senior Auditor will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • SOX experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience effectively managing projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent detail and organizational skills.
