Senior Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of accounting experience, CPA, and a high attention to detail. This company offers growth opportunities, flexibility, and a hybrid work environment.
The salary range for this position is $135k-155k.
The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the general ledger, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including both on-site and remote staff.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and data integrity in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Develop and enhance scalable processes to consistently achieve a streamlined month-end close.
- Execute full managerial duties including team development, workload planning, delegation, and performance management.
- Partner with financial planning and analysis teams during the annual budgeting process and provide support for monthly variance reporting.
- Contribute to US GAAP interim and year-end reporting, including technical accounting research
- Other duties as assigned.
The Senior Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 6+ years of accounting experience.
- Possess problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills/management experience.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- CPA license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
