Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is $90K – $110K.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, process, and reconcile employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies and IRS guidelines; provide employee support as needed.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns; maintain audit-ready documentation and monitor regulatory changes.
- Track and manage prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and capital expenditures, including maintaining asset schedules and supporting fixed asset audits.
- Prepare and post monthly depreciation and amortization journal entries related to fixed assets and CapEx activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support post-project reviews and reporting for capital expenditure initiatives.
- Facilitate recurring external reporting for third parties, including weekly inventory and cash reporting.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate or general accounting.
- Experience with Concur, Avalara, and ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, IFS) preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and data reconciliation.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator.
