Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and who has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is $105K.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the month-end close process, including completing journal entries and general ledger reconciliations within the targeted close window.
  • Maintain the general ledger to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage related treasury activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Develop new reports using FP&A software and modify existing reports to meet evolving business needs.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • CPA certification and Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel for meetings, training, or interoffice support.
