Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and high level of attention to detail.

 

The salary range for this position is $70-$85k.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconcile ledger accounts, and track departmental budgets.
  • Act as main point of contact for operational financial questions.
  • Record daily cash transactions in general ledger.
  • Attend monthly meetings.
  • Prepare annual manufacturing returns.
  • Prepare annual personal property returns.
  • Prepare year-end tax packets.
  • Record month-end and adjust journal entries.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Real estate experience preferred
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
