Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and motivated. This company offers a hard-working team, collaborative culture, and high visibility. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $80k – $90k.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances.
  • Prepare and review month-end account reconciliations.
  • Provide analysis and support to the finance team and functional leadership.
  • Maintenance of SOX documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
  • Support the execution and application of technical accounting principles.
  • Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required. CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with Epicor or a similar ERP software package.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with OneStream a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
