We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team on a temporary basis for at least the next 2-3 months. This role is fully remote and supports payroll processing for a mid-sized employee population using UKG (formerly UltiPro). Prior experience with UKG required. Immediate start required due to an upcoming transition in the payroll department.

*Please note that this remote individual must reside in WI, IL, MN, NC, PA, TX, GA, or FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately process biweekly payroll for approximately 600 hourly and salaried employees using UKG software.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • UKG (UltiPro) experience is required.
  • Previous experience processing multi-state payroll.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
