Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for an Internal Auditor. This client is looking for someone with prior related experience, strong attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn and grow. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of processes, including identification of control gaps and operational inefficiencies.
- Plan and execute risk-based audits, including financial, operational, and regulatory audits.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and perform testing to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with departments to understand workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Support external audit efforts through walkthroughs and sample testing coordination.
- Prepare audit findings and recommendations in clear, actionable reports.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Internal Auditor will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent detail and organizational skills.
