Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Human Resources & Office Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of related experience, a team player who is collaborative, approachable and adaptable.
The salary range for this position is $60k-75k.
The Human Resources & Office Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain company employee management software.
- Prepare and complete bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
- Manage benefits and maintain company relationships with insurance brokers.
- Manage all payroll functions including timecard tracking, paycheck issuance, and tax reporting.
- Manage new employee onboarding processes as needed.
- Create and manage job ads, recruit, onboard, train and maintain records.
- Securely manage all employee files.
- Coordinate and facilitate record keeping and risk management procedures.
- Assist the marketing department with planning and coordinating employee events.
- Coordinate with third-party IT consultants.
- Manage and maintain office and support staff to administer various activities that support other departments.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office, including managing supplies, equipment and facilities.
- Provide administrative support to various departments and employees as needed.
- Other duties as needed.
The Human Resources & Office Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associates degree preferred.
- 2+ years of payroll, HR & office management experience. 5+ years preferred.
- Experience in construction preferred.
- Strong Excel and either Paychex or ADP experience highly preferred.
- Dynamic, charismatic, strong longevity, collaborative.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
