HR Director
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for an HR Director. Our client is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, organized, and has exceptional communication skills. This company offers a progressive team, an inclusive workplace culture, and flexibility. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $150k – $200k.
The HR Director will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals, driving recruitment, retention, training, and development.
- Identifies staffing needs and executes best practices for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and managing top talent.
- Develops, implements, and oversees HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manages all core HR functions: compensation, benefits, employee relations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and talent development.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, updating policies and practices as needed to maintain regulatory alignment.
- Prepares, manages, and monitors the departmental budget to support HR initiatives and organizational priorities.
- Conducts research and interprets HRIS/talent management data to identify organizational trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, advising leadership on necessary adjustments.
The HR Director will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other human resources-related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in human resources management is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
