Finance Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Winnebago County area that’s looking for a Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and an inquisitive mindset. The salary for this position is $60k – $65k.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, allocations, eliminations, and adjustments.
- Create, analyze, and interpret financial reports; research variances and prepare clear explanations.
- Investigate and resolve accounting and reporting issues to ensure accurate financial results.
- Assist with reporting, analysis, and performance insights.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and U.S. GAAP, while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Standardize accounting and reporting processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Prepare intercompany invoices and confirmations and provide audit support to internal and external auditors.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.
The Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 1 years+ of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts and strategies to all associate levels.
